Illuminated HeritageIlluminated HeritageFebruary 3, 2006 Genealogy Database RegisteryAs you probably know, Genealogy Today has a Genealogy Database Registery. From what I’ve read it’s supposed to be able to search a whole slew of free database in one search, although I wonder if that’s wishful thinking on the side of the authors of those articles. I can’t say that I’ve found this very useful, but what I have found useful is the list of database in a quick, easy-to-click format. If you click on the grey boxes on the screen under Free Genealogy & Family Tree Databases and Most Popular Searches, you do get a really nice list. I intend on exploring this further soon and will report back. In the meantime, what are your experiences? No Comments »RSS feed for comments on this post. Leave a comment
